# How to close a course

Closing a course before/after the course end date or moving a course to the closed courses page without deleting the course. This way, you can still check the related data like attendance, the courses the student finished, the course information, etc. It will keep your course list clean when you close the finished courses.

* Go to the Scheduling > Course(s) >  **Course List page **
* Find the course you want to close
* Click on **More** button 
* Click **Close Course** button.

### Or you can close the course on the edit course page, so you can double-check the course information before closing the course.

**STEP 1:** 

* Go to Scheduling  >  Courses >  Click the **More** button.  
* **Edit Course** button of the course you would like to move to closed.

**STEP 2: **

* On the **Edit Course** page set the **Course Status** to **Close**
* Click the **Save** button at the bottom. 
* The course will then be moved to the **Closed Course(s)** page.
