# How to pay teachers according to the course

Pay teachers different Hourly Rates/Fixed Rates according to the courses that they are teaching.

**STEP 1**

After filling in the payroll profile information for a teacher then click on Save.

**STEP 2**

The +Add Courses button will activate and then you will be able to add the courses.

**STEP 3**

Then select whether it is by an Hourly Rate/Fixed Rates

1. Hourly Rate: rate paid per hour of work.
2. Fix Rate: one fixed amount paid regardless of the number of hours taught.

 

**STEP 4**

Enter the amount then click on +ADD to Save.

**STEP 5**

Payroll will then be paid according to the courses there were added.
