# How to set up scheduling rules and permissions

The scheduling settings allows you to edit the scheduling rules and permissions to fit your school's operation.

This section gives you the ability to allow users to set their own availability schedules, prevent students from entering the virtual classroom if they have not paid the invoice, gives teachers the permission to reschedule lessons on their own, and much more.

It is recommended that you go through each of the settings to ensure that it aligns with your school's rules.

# How to edit schedule rules

* Go to tools > settings and click on the scheduling tab
* Review each setting and update information
