# How to set up teacher profiles

Creating a teacher profile will provide the teacher access to the teaching tools and learning content  (i.e.  lesson plans). 

Teachers are not allowed to create their own course, however, they do have access to certain activities available to them (i.e. school's learning material). 


# How to manually add teacher profiles

If you only have a few teachers, then its easier to manually add them. 

* Go to Profiles tab and click on **Teachers**
* Click on **+ Add a New Teacher**
* Enter information

# How to import teacher profiles?

To import teachers in bulk, download the teacher profiles template excel template.

* Go to Profiles tab and click on  **Teachers**
* Click **Import** button
* Download Excel template
* Update Excel template and save
* Upload Excel
* Import

|| Please make sure that you don't change the name of the template file before uploading.

# How to edit teacher permissions?

You can set permission restrictions for each teacher.

* Go to Profiles tab and click on **Teachers**
* Select the **teacher's name** you want to **edit**
* Under Teacher Permissions - select **show**
* Edit permissions (3 tabs)
* Save
