# How to temporarily move a student to another course or lesson

To move a student to another course or lesson for only one lesson.

 
**STEP 1:** 

* Go to Scheduling> **Lessons**> then search for the lesson that the student(s) are currently in--> 
* Click **Edit Lesson**

**STEP 2:** 

* On the Edit Lesson page select the student(s) who you would like to move to another course/lesson then 
* Click on the **Move to Another Lesson** button

**STEP 3:**  

* On the **Available Lessons** page search for a course and date to move the student(s) to and then checkmark the course and 
* Click the **Move to Another Lesson** button.

The student(s) will then be moved to the other course/lesson just for that day and time, and their attendance will also appear on the lesson they were moved to.  After the lesson is over and attendance is taken, then the student will automatically be moved back to their original course/lesson.
