How to prepare your first class for teachers
Below are some helpful tips to help you prepare for your first class.
- Test equipment
Be sure to test your equipment such as your internet connection, microphone, and the camera is ready to go. Also, it is important to update your browser to the latest version. Be sure to tell your students to do the same. Chrome and Firefox browsers work the best.
- Prepare your lesson
If you have pre-lesson material to share with students, you can upload them in the Course Homework/Resource Files to let students download.

- Launch Classroom
When the lesson time arrived, you can choose the virtual classroom and click on Launch Virtual Classroom button.

- Take attendance
You can take attendance either during the lesson or after
- Daily report
You can write the Daily report after the lesson
- Student evaluation
You can evaluate students after the lesson.
- Progress report
You can complete the progress report if your school set up for the course.
How to submit your progress report?
- Online Assignments
If you need students to take Online Assignments, you should create them and attach to the course.
How to create online assignments as a teacher?
- Course Homework
If you want to give students homework, you can upload homework in the Course Homework/Resource Files.
- Course Forum
If you want to post something important, schedule, tasks ect., you can post them on the Course Forum.
