How to add an assistant teacher to a course

Assign an assistant teacher into a course to help the main teacher. In this case, the Main teacher takes leave, and those lessons will transfer to another teacher. The assistant teacher will continue to follow the lesson with the substitute teacher. 


The assistant teacher only get paid when their status is Present in the lessons. When they enter the lesson, there will be a check-in button, and after 15 mins a check-out button will appear under course availability.  The system will automatically set their status as Present only when they click Check in-out. If the assistant teacher doesn't check-in or out, they need to contact the Admin or the teacher in the class to help them set their Status.


There are 2 options depending on the schedule type


Option 1 - Schedule type Set, Flexible Student, or Flexible Teacher


**STEP 1: **


In the Add/Edit course page, adding the assistant teacher to the list. You can choose which assistant teacher will be added to the course through this List.

STEP 2:


In the schedule which you have set, click to the Edit Schedule button to adding the Assistant teacher to the Course.

Noted: After adding the assistant teacher will appear on the Assistant teacher column.


STEP 3:


Go to School Calendar ( Scheduling > Timetables > School Calendar ) or click on the School Calendar symbol to checking. Choosing the drop-down Teacher to the one you want to see their schedule.

Option 2 - Schedule type Booking


STEP 1:


In the Add/Edit course page, adding the assistant teacher to the list. You can choose which assistant teacher will be added to the course through this List.

Go to School Calendar to check. When the lesson is booked it will show on School Calendar and the assistant teacher's name will also appear.
