Connecting a payment gateway will give students another option make payments to your school through Ayotree.

Once you sign up for a payment gateway, you can set it up in Ayotree by entering the required fields in the payment settings. After you save, the payment gateway will appear on the checkout section.

Once the user clicks on the "pay invoice" button, Ayotree will redirect the user to the payment gateway. The user enters the billing information to the payment gateway and processes it. Once complete, the payment gateway will redirect the user back to Ayotree's paid invoice section. Ayotree does not store any billing information.

For the school, Paypal will automatically label the student paid but for other payment gateways, the admins will need to manually mark paid to the student's invoice.

This will eventually get automated.

What is manual payment methods?

Manual Payment is for your school to mark the payment way when your students pay you in cash or bank etc. after they pay, you can go to the pending invoice and add the mannual invoice payment so that you can check the record later.

The students can pay by themselves by logging into the student portal.

Can I connect multiple gateways?

Yes, typically schools have 2-3 payment gateways available to the student

If you prefer to use another payment system that is not part of the Ayotree free payment integration list, then Ayotree might be able to integrate the new payment system for a fee.
