How to take attendance for a tuition/hours enrollment type
Right before a lesson begins the buttons to submit attendance will appear on the Lesson’s page for Admins and Attendance tabs for teachers on their pages.
- Tuition:
this type of enrollment payment is usually paid in full for a certain amount of lesson with a start and end date. Attendance is taken for record purposes and also if a student wants to make up a lesson at a different day and time. Taking attendance usually does not affect the tuition payment amount.
- Hours:
Taking attendance will subtract the hours per lesson. For example, if a lesson is 30 minutes then it will subtract 0.5 hours. If a lesson is 90 minutes then it will subtract 1.5 hours when the standard time of your lesson is an hour. It is vital to remember to take attendance for enrollments that are based on hours because scheduled lessons do not automatically subtract hours.
- Lessons:
For example, if the student has 45 lessons, each time the teacher submit attendance the system will subtract to the total lesson of the student.
Hours can be tracked in the Enrollment page, Course: (Course Title) page and Student Profiles page.
