How to create, edit, and close courses

Creating a course will organize all of your services, pricing, and wages that you provide. When you schedule lessons, Ayotree will keep track of all student costs, staff wages, and reflect the changes in the reports.


How to create a Course


  • Go to Scheduling Tab > Courses and click on Courses List
  • Navigate to the right side and click on +Add a new course button
  • Enter your course information.
  • Set your **schedule type **
  • Click **Add Schedule **
  • Click Save





Enter your course information



After a course has been created, it is added to the Course(s) list page and can be edited.



Students can be enrolled into the course by clicking the More butto


Only administrators can add a New course.



Additional Details Below


Allow Users to buy lesson credit


Enable it will allow students to purchase additional class credit through the student portal



Student can purchase extra lessons by clicking on the buy more lessons


**Learning Level **


You can customize your learning level by clicking on the plus icon next to the learning level.


How to delete learning level


  • Go to the tools menu tab
  • Click on settings.
  • Click on the course categories tab
  • Click on view learning level to edit


Virtual Classroom Settings


If you are teaching virtually, then click on the virtual classroom button. You have the option to choose between 3 different virtual classroom to teach.

Notifications and Emails


Ayotree can automatically send emails to students 2 hours before the start of class.

Regenerate lessons in the past


Allow students to see lessons on the past. What scenario can admin relate to understand this?

How to edit a Course


  • Go to Scheduling Tab > Courses and click on Courses List
  • Navigate to the right side and click on +Add a new course button
  • Enter your course information.
  • Set your **schedule type **
  • Click **Add Schedule **
  • Click Save


How to close a Course


You have two options.


Manually


  • Go to Scheduling Tab > Courses and click on Courses List
  • Navigate to the right side and click on More button
  • Click Close course
  • Click Save


Automatically


If you know the end date, you can check the box to Automatically Close Course on End Date on the edit screen.


  • Go to Scheduling Tab > Courses and click on Courses List
  • Navigate to the right side and click on +edit course button
  • Change the status feom Open to Close.
